Students seeking to complete otherwise unpaid internships or experiences can compete for grants between $200 to $1000 to help cover their transportation, housing, and other expenses. The internship or experience must be conducted at a nonprofit or government organization.

Grant proposals require a well-written narrative and budget that includes:

The narrative, budget, and resume are uploaded as attachments to the application (Google form).

Preference will be given to students completing internships or experiences with Hastings College's Community Partners as well as students who, based on their major(s), are not eligible for Dudley-Doerr Student Experiential Learning Fund grants.

Recipients of Passport to Possibilities grants will be required to complete a narrative and financial reporting form within 30 days of completing the internship or experience.  We also will seek photos of experiences to further promote the program.
